The Pentax 50/1.2 (any K or A Series version) is one of those special lenses that has pretty well everything you could ask for; fast speed, 3D optics, a nice bokeh, great build & handling, all at a reasonable size & cost. The A50/1.2 "Special" just happens to be the nicest looking of the bunch, truly an amazing piece of engineering.

Recommended | Price: $15.00 | Rating: 9 Nicely built and great value. The only real downside is it's manual only, which limits the photo opportunities in my opinion. Still I do recommend this lense, specially for taken photos on non-moving objects. In the end I prefer lenses with an A setting, but this lense is great value and well worth testing.

Pentax-A SMC 50mm F1.2 is an interesting lens. It's one of those lenses that you either love or hate. Being an F1.2 prime, it's not the cheapest vintage lens out there and even in comparison to other 50mm F1.2 vintage primes it's quite pricey (average price is around $550), so it's better be good, right?
